When I say to someone that I'm doing blogging they normally ask what is blogging. Then they ask a lot of questions related to blogging. Even those who want to start blogging have a lot of questions.
Here are some of the most common blogging questions I get asked:
a) How do I start a blog?
You can start a blog by following the steps
1 Think Topic
Think about the topic of your expertise or interest on which you want to start a blog.
2 Sort out Words
Sort out some catchy words related to your topic.
3 Research Keywords
Research for these words or phrases of words that are been called keywords. You have to search the keyword search volume on search engines like Google. You have to also find out the keyword difficulties.
You can do keyword research with tools provided by different sites such as Semrush, Ahref, Ubbersuggest and many others.
You have to select words with high search volume and low keyword difficulties.
This process is necessary for ranking high on search engines and to get traffic to your blog.
4 Select Name
After keyword research select a few catchy names for your blog site.
5 Select a Domain
Out of these catchy names you have to select a domain name that is your identity and address on the internet.
Selecting a domain name depends on the availability of that particular name.
For example, if you had chosen "myblog.com" and that is not available then you have to choose "mineblog.com" or another related word.
You can also select "myblog. in" or "myblog.org" or any other TLD available. TLD is the last part of your domain name. It's a short form of Top Level Domain.
Name your blog site the same as your domain name. For example, My Blog or Mine Blog.
In this way, you include your targeted keyword on the blog name, domain name and blog URL.
You can purchase a domain name from Google Domain, Godaddy, or a domain auction site like Sedo. You can also purchase from your hosting service provider.
6 Select the Hosting Service provider
Hosting is necessary to store and run your site on the internet.
You can select from a lot of hosting service providers such as Hostinger, Milesweb and many others. Some hosting service providers also provide domain names.
7 Select CMS
CMS is a content management system that allows you to publish your text, images or videos without the knowledge of coding.
WordPress, Joomla, Wix and Drupal are some of the CMS that you can install from your hosting services control panel.
8 Select Theme
A theme is a website page builder for writing, adding images and videos, editing and customizing design easily without knowledge of coding.
The best themes for the blog are Ashe, Astra and many others.
Select a theme, customize it according to you and start writing, add related images or videos and publish it after you are satisfied with your content.

For professional blogging, WordPress is the best blogging platform.
Although you can make a free blog on Blogger and WordPress. You can also make a blog on social media platforms free of cost.
But the chances of earning money from a free blog are very low compared to your professional blogs.

Niche is the topic or subject of your blog. Choose a niche of your expertise or the subject of your interest and your knowledge.
The best profitable Niche are adult content, healthcare, diet and fitness, politics, news portal, job advice, fashion and lifestyle, movies and entertainment, finance and many others.
You can choose a micro niche. For example mental health or haircare in the health niche.
d) How do I write a blog post?
For writing a blog post follow this step.
1 Choose a question
Choose some questions that come to your mind related to your blog niche. Make titles of these questions.
For example, if your niche is health, then you can choose the question are healthy drinks good for health.
2 Research
Research for keywords related to your niche and questions that you can target in your blog post. Know the search volume of the question you have selected.
Read other blogs, articles and books to gain more information. Watch videos or interview an expert and gather knowledge for your blog post.
3 Create an Outline
For writing a blog post create an outline of the blog post including an introduction, subheading questions or other related topics of the selected question or title and a conclusion.
For example, we take the question are healthy drinks good for health. You can start with an introduction about healthy drinks, which drinks are healthy, what drinks are good for health, Why these drinks are good for health, which drinks are bad for health and so on.
4 Write your first draft
After making an outline you can start writing your first draft of your blog post. You can write down your ideas and answers to the related questions.
It's your first draft hence don't think of making it perfect. You can edit and revise it as many times as you want to make it perfect.
5 Edit and revise
After writing your draft check for spelling mistakes and grammatical mistakes. Use active voice sentences instead of passive voice.
You can rewrite sentences and paragraphs or you can add more paragraphs to make it more convincing.
6 Add visuals
Adding related images and illustrations enhances beauty and readability.
It helps to break the monotonous and make your blog more interesting for the readers of your blog.
